FS-PM : Policy Management
SAP Policy Management (FS-PM) is an integrated policy management system that is suitable for insurance companies operating on a global basis and for the regional market. This is guaranteed by integration into the SAP landscape.
SAP Policy Management is divided into a basic part and into different lines of business with industry-specific product models and business processes/transactions.
The product engine linked to SAP Policy Management, for example Product Engine (msg.PM), provides the definition of the product structure used as the basis for policies, and for rating and plausibility check rules. Depending on the insurance product, it also performs the calculations.
FS-CM : Claims Management
The Claims Management component enables efficient and transparent processing of insurance claims. It enables to manage notifications of loss or claim, processing and handling of claims, payment processing in claims, financial processing, billing, invoices, reserves, litigation, document management, etc
FS-CD : Collections and Disbursements
The SAP module “Collections and Disbursements” (FS-CD) is a sub ledger and offers the opportunity to manage all transactions concerned with billing and receivables in the insurance life cycle including premium billing to policyholders, billing and payments to brokers / agents, payments to third parties etc. FS-CD allows also to process incoming checks, handling of open items , dunning and managing installment plans.

The Incentive and Commission Management (ICM) is a system to represent all types of variable remuneration for employees and partners. It provides up-to-date and clear information on earned and expected commission and incentives.
